One of the great early Jamaican reggae singers, Pablo Moses recorded his classic debut album, “A Revolutionary Dream” (engineered at the Black Ark by Lee “Scratch” Perry), in 1975, just as reggae was going from cult status to global popularity. The album was released in the U.S. as “I Love I Bring,” and included the hit “I Man a Grasshopper.” Nearly a dozen albums later, Moses continues to uphold and sing about the issues that defined his debut: Rastafarianism, justice, and human rights, personal and global.
